The goal of the Coalition is to help identify and clarify the issues, and communicate them to all interested parties. In so doing, we seek to move cautiously. Through prayer and careful research, the Coalition exists to play a part in the solution to the issues of concern raised at Cedarville. We are hopeful that our efforts will result in a positive effect on the university with the implementation of honest and open discussion of the issues and concerns. The question most often heard is, "Where is Cedarville going?"
The Coalition of the Concerned is an ad-hoc group of current and retired faculty who have come together over similar concerns about the accusations of theological drift, and the manner of university governance evidenced by low faculty morale on the Cedarville University campus. We seek to be an information voice of perceptions and concerns that we have, and have been receiving from faculty, staff, alumni, and constituents of Cedarville University.
